I would never recommend Freedom mortgage to anyone I cared about. They get two stars only because they did get me the Nevada Home Is Possible grant and they closed in a reasonable time....

Dang, by the luck of the draw, my mortgage company that was barely "OK" to begin with (NewDay) sold my paper to this shyster outfit. I went from bad to worse. I WILL be transferring ASAP....

They're great if you're buying and they want your business. They are absolute garbage when it comes time to sell, they refuse to provide payoff statements. Avoid like the plague.
