John Mason joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2015. He previously worked for 30 years as Feeder and Package car driver at United Parcel Service. John has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from University of Nevada and an Associate’s degree in Business from Truckee Meadows Community College, American College of Finance, ChFC. He holds Series 7, 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Nevada. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, John serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. John will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. In his free time, John enjoys golf, spending time with family, and traveling.
