El Portal Motel has a great location if you visit Death Valley National Park, the motel is in Nevada, but very close to the park! I chose it due to the location, also all the hotels in California...

Amazing owner and son,highly recommend!!Near Rhyolite ghost town and entrance to Death Valley.Very clean, polite, and helped us when no rooms were available in town at night!
