A board-certified urologist, Dr. Lesani owns and operates his own practice, offering care to patients within the Las Vegas area.After earning his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from University of North Texas, Dr. Lesani attended the University of Texas Health Science Center, where he earned his medical degree. He later completed a surgical internship and urology residency at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, and a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago.Dr. Lesani adheres to the philosophy that "it's not the cancer you remove from the patient, but rather it's the patient you preserve from cancer." This focus on patient care shines through in his work, and he remains dedicated to providing the safest, least disruptive, minimally invasive care whenever possible, including the latest in robotic procedures.As a highly respected robotic surgeon and the only fellowship-trained urologist in southern Nevada, Dr. Lesani's academic work has been presented at urology conferences at home and abroad. In his spare time, he gives back to his peers and the medical community, publishing numerous studies and articles in books such as the "Mastery of Surgery" and "Management of Urologic Malignancies."
