Sierra Surgery Hospital Sierra Surgery provides specialized surgical care, including both in-patient and out-patient surgery, to patients with specific needs. Sierra supports surgical procedures in about a dozen specialties, from Orthopedics to Plastic Surgery, to Urology and General Surgery. Patients are limited to those who need elective surgery, as well as patients who need diagnostic imaging services, such as MRI, CT scans, Ultrasound, and traditional X-ray. Although the hospital is new, many of the outstanding doctors on the Sierra medical staff have cared for patients in northern Nevada for decades. Using their professional and life experiences, these physicians and Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare created Sierra Surgery Hospital, a facility dedicated to meeting the particular needs of patients having elective surgery.
