History

In September 2010 Robin McGregor opened Carson City Pottery to be able to teach whatever a student wishes to learn, with no creative restrictions. Since then the student roster has grown; some people are with the studio since its' inception, others have discovered and joined Carson City Pottery's clay community since. Robin & Rich McGregor create their Art Pottery here for sale, and love sharing their love of clay with anyone who wishes to learn.

Specialties

Carson City Pottery is a full clay teaching studio. Whether you are new to working with clay or an experienced potter, this is for you! We have short sessions for beginners to try their hands in clay and see if they like it, and longer sessions for those who wish to continue learning or just have a place to work. Robin & Rich McGregor create their Art Pottery on site for sale, and teach anyone who wishes to learn. This is the only pottery teaching studio in the Carson City area with plenty of Open Studio hours and quarterly workshops.
