History

The Academy of Defensive and Protective Training (ADAPT) was founded with the goal of providing world class firearms and self defense instruction to those seeking this knowledge. The Faculty at ADAPT come from various walks of life but they have united with a common goal. To teach what they believe in, and learn from our Students on how to do so better. The training you will experience is not the culmination, end-all-be-all of firearms training. It is the accumulation of experiences coming from Law Enforcement, Military, and competitive shooting backgrounds, of what are some of the very best techniques, and information available today. Our passion is to continue to learn, grow, and adapt, and most of all, to see our students succeed.

ADAPT is a private educational institution offering a full range of programs and courses focused on professional development of Military, Law Enforcement, Private Security, Shooting Sports, and Personal Defense. Firearms and self defense training includes: Concealed weapons permits, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Empty hand defense, Children's firearms safety, Women's Only courses, First Aid, Emergency Preparation, and Survival Skills. Come study with us in a safe, fun, friendly, family oriented environment. Where skilled Instructors will work with you to enhance your skills no matter what your current skill level may be.
