History
Trackside was opened as a neighborhood bar, with a strong association to Aksarben Horse Racing. Bets were placed and losses were soothed over cold beers and broasted chicken. The walls were covered with reportedly millions of dollars of losing race tickets. The familiar red and blue stripes on the building were painted in commemoration to our country's bicentennial celebration in 1976. While some things have changed, many have stayed the same. The beer is cold, the conversation is lively and the chicken is still the world's best.
