Osmond General Hospital is a nonprofit corporation that operates a general acute-care hospital and provides inpatient and outpatient care, patient and community education and related health care services. It offers a variety of radiology services, such as magnetic resonance imaging, bone density, low-dose mammography, echocardiography, ultrasound, computed tomography scanning and nuclear medicine. The hospital also provides nursing services that include hospice and respite care, discharge planning, adult day care, pulmonary function testing, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. In addition, the hospital s laboratory is staffed by clinical laboratory scientists, certified technicians and phlebotomists that provide analysis of tissue, blood and other body fluids. Osmond General Hospital has been operational since 1945 and is located in Osmond, Neb.

Dr. Holdiman has practiced general Internal Medicine for the past 40 years in Sioux City. During his many years of service, Dr. Holdiman has served a member, President elect and President of the MercyOne Medical staff, Chairman of the Bylaws Committee, Member of the Iowa Board of Medical Examiners, Medical Director of Home Health and Medical Director of Hospice of Siouxland.Dr. Holdiman, a native of Waterloo, Iowa is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then attended Law School at the University of Iowa before being drafted into the Army in 1969. He was stationed in Yuma, Arizona until 1970. After his military service, Dr. Holdiman went to medical school at the University of Iowa, graduating in 1976, then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa. Dr. Holdiman was presented the 2019 Dr. George G. Spellman Annual Service Award by the MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center Foundation. Named after the late Dr. George G. Spellman, a longtime Sioux City physician, the special award recognizes community members or groups whose generosity with their time, talent and treasure exemplifies the values of MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center.

Burgess Health Center, founded in 1963, is a rural acute care hospital that is accredited by the State of Iowa. It offers primary care clinics in Dunlap and Sloan, Iowa, and Tekamah and Decatur, Neb., and operates retail pharmacies in Dunlap and Whiting, Iowa. The health center offers services such as ambulance, anesthesia services, critical care unit, endoscopy, fitness center, home health, laboratory, pharmacy, prenatal assessment, dietary services, maternal services, drug testing collection, infection control and medical equipment. It also offers radiological services, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, MRI and CT scans, ultrasound, echo and mammography. Burgess Health Center is headquartered in Onawa, Iowa.
