History

OWENS and ASSOCIATES, Inc. was founded in 1982 as a Human Resource Consulting firm. Due to numerous needs of employees within companies represented by Owens and Associates, it became apparent that a new segment of services was needed. Therefore, in 1986, the firm developed a division which specifically dealt with the needs of employees and their families. During this period, In 1992, Owens Educational Services, incorporated as a self-sufficient, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors from within the community at large. Today, Owens & Associates Inc., Owens Educational Services, and Owens Staffing are multi-faceted organizations that form partnerships to meet the needs of the clients and customers we serve. We are continually developing and administering new programs and services that empower our clients to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency, along with giving our customers effective human resource practices that minimize exposure to risks.
