The Pottawattamie County Historical Society in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is the proud owner and operator of the Historic Pottawattamie County Squirrel Cage Jail. Built in 1885, this unique three-story structure is the only one of its kind in existence, featuring revolving pie-shaped cells inside a cage.
