The building is located near the intersection of N 30th St and Grant St in Omaha, Nebraska, and is strategically positioned in the middle of the neighborhood, enabling students and community members the ability to have educational resources close by. Their unique, drug-free methodology aims to strengthen brain connectivity and address various developmental challenges in both children and adults. The program focuses on creating measurable changes in brain function rather than merely managing symptoms, utilizing scientifically backed exercises to improve attention, mood, memory, and daily behavior. The MCC Yates Illuminates is located inside the Gifford Park neighborhood on 32nd and Davenport. The more than century-old, 30,000-square-foot structure offers classrooms, offices and multi-purpose spaces, a commercial kitchen and an auditorium with a stage.
