The Mayhew Cabin Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to interpreting the history of Nebraska's Underground Railroad through the Mayhew Cabin and John Brown's Cave. Prior to its closure, the museum was the first site in Nebraska recognized by the National Park Service's Network to Freedom.
Support for the foundation's fundraising efforts to construct a new museum building and address damage caused by flooding is greatly honored and appreciated. Visitors were able to experience the rich history of the Underground Railroad through exhibits and events at the Mayhew Cabin with John Brown's Cave Museum.
