Dr. Debra Whaley loves working with children and their families and that made pediatrics the perfect choice for her. She feels that parents play a big role in their child's care and well-being, so she feels strongly about making sure parents are a part of their child's care and treatment plans. "I enjoy working with parents to help them relate with the child and understand the child's behaviors," said Dr. Whaley, "but my favorite part of my job is making kids smile."

Dr. Mara Paradis considers it a privilege to take care of children from birth through adolescence, helping families through acute illnesses, chronic illnesses and the behavioral challenges they face throughout the years. She enjoys teaming with parents on all aspects of their child's health, growth and development. "I want families to be very actively involved in the decision-making process in regard to care for their children," said Dr. Paradis. "At Boys Town Pediatrics, we care about children and their entire families. We want our families to be thriving, happy and healthy.

Dr. Charles Sprague's top priority is keeping patient and family needs first. "Pediatrics is the perfect opportunity as there are certainly plenty of challenges, a great deal of critical thinking, decision making and problem solving," said Dr. Sprague. "I enjoy being in a position to help. My goal is to ultimately find a diagnosis or solution to help a child and family. I enjoy being able to get to know my patients and their families and to watch them grow over time.
