Caring is our calling. Wilber Care Center is a city owned skilled nursing and assisted living facility located about 35 miles south of Lincoln.

Founded in 1905, the Crowell Memorial Home is located in Blair, Neb., and is a nonprofit organization providing health care services for the seniors. It offers various amenities that include independent care and assisted living apartments and an Alzheimer's care unit. It also offers skilled nursing care and provides Medicare unit for the seniors. The facility provides on-site physical, occupational and speech therapies to the senior residents to maintain an independent living. It also offers a variety of assistance services, such as housekeeping, dining and other activities of daily living. The home provides transportation services as well for the residents shopping trips, outings and medical appointments. In addition, the Crowell Memorial Home organizes a variety of recreational and social activities that include church services, Bible studies, singing competition, bingo, movies and crafts festivals.

Brookestone Village provides skilled nursing care, including specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias. Its nursing services include assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming. The organization also offers housekeeping, dietary and laundry services, including a washer and dryer in each household. Brookestone Village provides its residents with a range of facilities, such as a wellness center, cafe, and beauty salon and barbershop. Additionally, it provides a room for special entertainment and dining events. The rooms at Brookestone Village offer various amenities that include televisions, telephones and temperature control systems. The organization has been operational since 1975 and is located in Omaha, Neb.
