We were a table of 5. The waiter was cordial. I ordered a margarita grande and he told me they have 40 ounce! Why not?! My aunt and I did share it. I have always loved La Mesa and this one...

The stuffed chili ancho pepper wasn't even a full pepper. A spoonful of puréed hamburger meat covered a small square of pepper. It was flavorless and uneventful.

Restaurant was super huge and had friendly service. The margarita was super tasty and not too sweet. I had the chicken quesadilla and was super cheesy and kind of heavy in my opinion.

Sugary salsa, and meat that didn't taste right. Also the color of the vegetables was very dull, which should have told me all I needed to know. Nice staff, but that was not good food.
