Kappa Sigma's Firehouse

Kappa Sigma at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a non-residential fraternity that offers its members a unique experience of living in dorms or off-campus while still having access to their own fraternity house, known as The Firehouse. This historic fire station turned gathering space provides a range of amenities, including study areas, a lounge, a catering kitchen, and recreational facilities, making it an ideal place for members to socialize, study, and relax.

Established in 1897, the Alpha-Psi chapter of Kappa Sigma is one of the oldest fraternity chapters in America and has a strong presence on the UNL campus. With around 50 active undergraduate members and pledges from various states, the chapter aims to be the best fraternity at UNL and in the nation, consistently earning recognition as one of the top chapters by Kappa Sigma International. Kappa Sigma offers a great opportunity for individuals to develop leadership skills, forge lifelong friendships, and be part of a vibrant community.
