The Dawson County Historical Museum preserves the history of Dawson County and south Central Nebraska. We are based out of our museum campus in Lexington, Nebraska. Our exhibits cover a wide range of local historical and prehistorical topics. On our grounds, we have four historic buildings from across Dawson County.

Dawson County Extension Service

The Dawson County Extension Office in Lexington, NE is a branch of the University of Nebraska Lincoln's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources. They offer a variety of programs and resources related to horticulture, land lease cash rents, ServSafe training, and private pesticide training. They also provide support and educational opportunities for 4-H youth and offer scholarships and achievement applications. Additionally, they conduct on-farm research projects in partnership with UNL faculty to provide valuable crop production information to farmers and agronomists.Generated from the website
