About Our Credit Union Chadron Federal Credit Union is a non-profit co-operative located along the beautiful Pine Ridge Forest in the northwestern corner of Nebraska. We are a small credit union with around 1750 members and $7 million in assets. Our membership is open to anyone who lives works or worships in the Dawes, Sioux or Sheridan County areas, as well as employees of the Union Pacific Railroad/Western Division in Nebraska, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Once a member, your family members qualify for membership under you. We recommend a minimum deposit of $25 to establish your membership. You will need to maintain the $25 in your share ( savings ) account to take advantage of all our other services such as: share draft accounts ( checking accounts ), IRA's, CD's, applying for loans, and so forth. Just stop in or contact us to open an account. Our office is located at 126 East 3rd along Highway 20, a block from the only stoplight in the county. Chadron Federal Credit Union is staffed by 3 employees.
