21st Century Cleaning

History

Actually, the foundation of 21st Century Cleaning was established in 1968 when my father started his business, Starlight Janitorial, in Omaha, NE. In 1988, when I was still in high school, I landed my first cleaning account. That was when Metropolitan Building Services was established. While in Omaha I cleaned several reputable businesses, until 1996 when I decided to move to Lincoln, NE. My father took over the accounts in Omaha and I started fresh here in Lincoln. In 1998 my father and I decided to form a partnership and it was at that time that Hrdy Cleaning Services, Inc. was born. In 2000, because of differences in business philosophy, we decided to seperate the businesses. This was when 21st Century Cleaning, Inc. came into existance. Though we went our different ways, my father and I still work together on projects and help each other out when we need it. My wife, Vanessa, is a key part of 21st Century Cleaning. Specialties

We specialize in stripping, waxing and maintaining hard surface flooring, with an emphasis on VCT. We also do construction cleanups, office and institutional cleaning. We have a long list of satisfied customers that will tell you we are the cleaning service you are looking for. We are locally and family owned.
