History
The Roxy was built in 1930 at a cost of $35,000. It was built to replace the Lincoln Paramount Theatre, a silent movie house that was located in a storefront two doors to the west. The original owners were F. X. Faust and Anthony Wolke, Since its construction, the Roxy has been modernized to include the newest types of projection and sound and amenities, but it still retains its 1930s charm -- in fact all of the lobby doors and finishes are still original.
