About Special Olympics Montana Special Olympics Montana is part of an international organization started in 1968 that changes lives by promoting understanding, acceptance and inclusion between people with and without intellectual disabilities. Through year-round sports training, athletic competition and other related programming for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in more than 160 countries, Special Olympics has created a model community that celebrates people's diverse gifts. Founded in 1968 by Eunice Kennedy Shriver, Special Olympics provides people with intellectual disabilities continuing opportunities to realize their potential, develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy friendship. Founded in 1996, Foothills Community Christian School provides a range of academic services for students in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers classes in fine arts, social studies, English, science, math and physical education. The school is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Foothills Community Christian School maintains a staff of more than five teachers and provides food solutions.
