Montana Military Museum
The Montana Military Museum, located in Fort William Henry Harrison, Helena, Montana, is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to honoring the brave Montanans who have served the State of Montana and the Nation. Through its exhibits and collections, the museum chronicles the military history of Montana, from the Lewis and Clark army expedition in 1805 to various peacekeeping operations, including the Indian Wars, World Wars I and II, the Korean Conflict, the Vietnam War, Desert Storm, and more.
Operated under a memorandum of agreement between the Department of Military Affairs, State of Montana, and the Montana National Guard Museum Activity and the Fort William Henry Harrison Museum Foundation, the Montana Military Museum is an all-volunteer effort that aims to share history and heritage, educate and enlighten visitors, and provide a place where history comes alive.
