The Memorial Rose Garden in Missoula, MT is a living memorial established in 1946 to honor the local casualties of World War II. With 44 beds planted with 600 rose bushes, the garden is a joint effort between the Missoula Rose Society and the Missoula Parks and Recreation Department, with the Rose Society responsible for providing the roses and overseeing the garden's maintenance.
In addition to the beautiful rose garden, the park features various memorials, including the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Monument, and the Policemen's Memorial. The garden also offers an Adopt-A-Bed program, allowing individuals, groups, or organizations to care for one of the rose beds throughout the year. Donations and sponsorships are welcomed to support the ongoing maintenance and growth of the Memorial Rose Garden.
