It was there that she developed a passion for serving the community and making a difference in the world through medicine and science. She graduated with her Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College. The mission of Meharry Medical College is to serve the underserved, and that's exactly what drew Dr. Davis-Garcia to that institution. After medical school, she completed a General Surgery Residency at the Sunrise GME Consortium in Las Vegas. Dr. Davis-Garcia is deeply passionate about all aspects of general surgery including diagnosing and treating common conditions and performing complex procedures. She believes that general surgery represents the very best of what medicine has to offer. Yolanda joins our team after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University - Northern and continuing with a Masters of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Prior to joining the Walk-In Clinic team, Yolanda worked in Obstetrics where she cared for patients while completing her FNP degree. Yolanda and her husband have a son and are excited to be able to stay close to family in Miles City.
