Butte Cares is a community substance use prevention coalition based in Butte, Montana. Their mission is to support the Butte community, with a particular focus on youth, in building a safe, healthy, and drug-free environment. They work together with Prevention Specialists in 12 counties in Southwest Montana to improve the health, safety, and well-being of young people in the region. Through their prevention work, Butte Cares aims to address the adverse effects of substance use on the community by providing resources, support, and education. They collaborate with local partners and publish Youth Connections Magazine, which offers useful parenting tips and is distributed to over 11,000 families in the area.
