When the weather is exceptional, you can't go wrong. There are no roads into this part of the National Forest. If you aren't an endurance hiker or own your own boat, this is the best option. Lots...

Not to far from Helena and it's worth the drive it's one of the most scenic routes I've been on. There's a huge picturesque lake with lots of hiking paths plus they say the fishing is really good....
