A part of Montana State University, the College of Technology is a learning center that offers a range of associate degrees and certification programs to more than 600 students annually. The college offers degrees and certifications for licensed practical nurses, surgical technicians, paramedics, firefighters, automobile technicians and process plant operators. It also certifies diesel technicians, computer system technicians, computer desktop support specialists and computer-assisted drafting technicians. The college organizes a range of contract training, continuing education courses, workshops and seminars in order to provide additional information. It has a staff of academic advisors that reviews the progress of students based on their particular academic area of study. The College of Technology is located in Billings, Mont.
