HistoryOctober 2005 a friend approached me about being in a craft show with her. We decided together it was too expensive so she asked if I would like to put on a craft show with her. I instantly thought I could do that and left not five minutes later to check out a building. We organized and put on a show that Christmas. What a surprise to find out how much work it was and how expensive it is to promote a craft show. A vendor at the Christmas Extravaganza shared a newsletter that had craft show listings and went to artists and crafters. I thought how neat that was and immediately subscribed as well as advertising my future shows. When the owner of the newsletter decided it was time to move on, I decided it was a perfect use of all I had learned. I contacted her, and with her help The Extravaganza Craft News was created in July of 2006.
