Whole Kids Outreach

Whole Kids Outreach is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that provides home- and center-based educational and health care programs. It works in partnership with other service providers, organizations and church groups. The organization offers the Maternal-Child Visiting Nurse Program, which employs nurses who ensure that pregnant women receive appropriate prenatal care and health education. The program additionally teaches parenting skills so that newborns receive needed health services. Whole Kids Outreach also offers a family enhancement program that focuses on the needs of children who have experienced domestic violence, abuse, neglect and developmental delays. Its outreach center provides various recreational activities, such as summer day camps and a wellness-oriented equine program. In addition, the center offers safety programs, including swimming safety classes, parent support groups and community events. The organization is located in Ellington, Mo.
