Big beautiful park. Not the best play equipment in town for kids, but they have some. Good for playing in the creek, walking, dogs and fishing. We love to go here to walk our German shepherd.

Walther Park, located in De Soto, MO, features the Railroad Employees Memorial, dedicated to honoring the contributions of railroad workers from the St. Louis Iron Mountain, Missouri Pacific, and Union Pacific Railroads since 1857. The memorial showcases local artistry through engraved black granite and historical imagery, with ongoing enhancements planned for the surrounding site.
The design and construction of the memorial involved collaboration among local artists and craftsmen, including contributions from Ed Boyer, Debbie Boyle, and Tom Parker. Additional features, such as a flag plaza, enhance the site's significance and are expected to be developed further as resources become available.
