I come from a family of nurses, including my mother and sister. We're in different fields--my sister is in primary care and I'm in orthopedics--but we're all inspired by wanting to help people. That's been our drive. We love our community. I like total hip replacements the best. People with bad hips live with terrible, gnawing pain. But 24 hours after the surgery, most of them can't believe how much better they feel.
