Versailles Rural Fire Protection District
The Versailles Fire Department is a volunteer organization comprised of 24 firefighters, including seven EMTs and one EMR. With a fleet that includes two engines, a tanker, a tank pumper, a brush firefighting truck, and an air compressor trailer, the department responds to approximately 120 service calls each year.
In addition to emergency services, the Versailles Fire Department actively engages with the community by hosting events such as an annual Bike Rodeo for local youth and managing the Grand Parade during the Poultry Days festival. The department also prioritizes fire safety education, providing instruction to Versailles students every October during Fire Prevention Week.
