The MOREnet is a research and education network that provides Internet connectivity, technical support, videoconferencing services and training to Missouri's schools, colleges, universities, public libraries, health care, state government and other affiliated organizations. It also offers additional services, such as access to online reference resources, opportunities to converse with colleagues and, security education and assistance. Established in 1991 and based in Columbia, Mo., the MOREnet operates as a unit within the University of Missouri.
