The Railroad Historical Museum INC of Springfield, Missouri is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the rich history of railroads and educating generations about their heritage. Located in Grant Beach Park, the museum houses a collection of artifacts, equipment, photos, and paintings from the St. Louis San-Francisco Railroad and other railroads, including the iconic Frisco Locomotive 4524, Burlington Baggage Car, Chicago and Northwestern Commuter Car, and Burlington Northern Caboose.

Visitors of all ages can enjoy hands-on activities, explore the various train cars and the replica of an 1890s-era rural depot, and watch videos of steam and diesel trains. The museum staff, comprised of knowledgeable volunteers with connections to the railroad industry, are available to answer any questions. Private birthday parties on the train are available on Saturdays, and private tours can be arranged on weekdays for educational, charitable, civic groups, or families.
