The Levee Bar & Grill is one of the longest running bars in Kansas City. Since 1965, The Levee has been known as one of the city's best places for live, local bands. The ground floor looks just as it did when the doors opened nearly 50 years ago, with live music every Wednesday through Saturday night. The second floor sports bar is filled with HD televisions which are tuned to local and national sporting events. We also feature several outdoor seating areas, and private event rooms. The Levee is the place locals bring their out-of-town guests for a taste of authentic Kansas City.

Great place for live music. This place has been here forever. Have a drinks with friends. Enjoy some music and dancing. Waitress is always nice and tentative.

Under new ownership...Drink prices have gone up, drink sizes have gone down. Limited and expensive menu for band playing at 5pm....4 items for $15 each.

Paid the $20 cover per person and then could barely get in the door because it was so crowded inside. Only 1 of us could make the way to the bar & waited 15 minutes trying to get a drink without...

Great live music. Early band attracts older friendly crowd. The later band would skew much younger. The foods good.
