History

Our Cart was actually born of necessity and desperation. Our financial services business was an early victim of the crash of 2008 - after trying different businesses, I decided to entertain my love of cooking...but didn't wish to open a restaurant. I purchased a Chicago style hot dog steam cart and spent the next two seasons trying different locations and fare. We were the first to bring New England style Lobster Rolls to Springfield...along with specialty sausages like Alligator Andouille, Duck Jalapeno bacon and Pheasant. We feel we are a testament to the fact that we live in a great country and great City. Where we are free...and where grit and determination can still provide for a family. Thank you Springfield for taking us in!

Specialties

We are an Old Fashioned Hot Dog Cart available for Parties, Catering, Weddings, Corporate events, and lunch set up. We serve gourmet hot dogs, specialty sausages and brats from local meat producers. Last year we introduced Springfield to our Famous Lobster Rolls...they have really become a driving part of our business as people begin to sample this Authentic New England treat.
