The Bellwether is a contemporary American restaurant located at 1419 Carroll Street, in the historic Lafayette Square neighborhood of St. Louis. The Bellwether menu's are highly seasonal, emphasizing small plates, exceptional proteins and fresh pastas. Sister restaurant to Polite Society, The Bellwether marks the second collaboration between proprietors Brian Schmitz and Jonathan Schoen, partner and Beverage Director Travis Hebrank and Executive Chef Thomas Futrell.
