Located in the rugged and scenic St. Francois Mountains, the park features Taum Sauk Mountain, the highest point in the state at 1,772 feet. A hiking trail takes visitors to Mina Sauk Falls, a wet-weather waterfall. The park also offers primitive camping and picnicking.

A truly secluded and rustic spot to spend the night. We stopped to view the overlook that was so peaceful and serene. I wanted to meditate here. You must know that the sights here for camping...
