Tara Brown, DO

Dr. Brown is a graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed her residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. "I love people, learning and science,"; says Dr. Brown. "The work of a physician allows me to channel those passions and serve others. Growing up just outside of St. Joseph in Cosby, I have always considered northwest Missouri my home. It's been my goal to bring my family back home and serve my community."; Dr. Brown is a physician at Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph, Family Care, North Pointe B. She sees pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. She treats obesity, high blood pressure, depression and other chronic medical conditions like high cholesterol and diabetes. She provides well-woman exams and routinely performs procedures such as skin removals, biopsies and joint injections. Dr. Brown practices hands-on care with osteopathic manipulative therapy.
