Steven Kurzweil, MD

Steven Kurzweil, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon who treats patients ages 18 and older. He offers a wide range of surgical procedures, most of which are performed laparoscopically. These include gallbladder surgery, appendix removal, hernia repairs, removal of skin lesions, and abscess drainage. He also provides pre-and postoperative follow-up care. Dr. Kurzweil’s experience, empathy, and availability, combined with minimally invasive surgery, enable his patients to experience less pain, quicker recovery, and positive outcomes. He chose to practice general surgery because he enjoys the hands-on aspect of surgical procedures, the integration of advanced medical technology, and the challenging nature of the specialty.
