In 1955 Ellis R. Schmidt became president of Zamzow and he is still active in the business today. Today, along with Zamzow's dedicated staff, the tradition continues with the third generation. Roger Schmidt, Gary Schmidt, and Mark Schmidt who head up the operations in St. Louis and Kansas City. The Kansas City operation was opened in 1990 and is managed by Bob Blanton.
