Eston James Schwartz, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained medical oncologist with Saint Luke’s Cancer Specialists. Dr Schwartz has specialized training in treating gastrointestinal neoplasms and has extensive experience in general oncology, including head and neck cancer, lung cancer, and colon cancer. Dr Schwartz is passionate about patient care and strives to help his patients have a good quality of life during treatment. He spends time educating his patients on their condition and follows national guidelines to help tailor patient treatment based on the latest breakthroughs. He encourages his patients to be involved in the decision-making process.

Raonak Ekram, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained medical oncologist with Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute. Dr Ekram has specialized training in hematology oncology and treating breast cancer. She is passionate about early detection, prevention through lifestyle changes, genetic testing, and counseling for patients at high risk of breast cancer. Her goal is to develop a strong relationship with her patients through compassion, transparency, and honesty. Dr Ekram is native to the Kansas City area and is married with two children. When not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and practicing yoga and Pilates.

Juliet Appiah, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained medical oncologist with Saint Luke’s Cancer Specialists. Dr Appiah has specialized training in hematology oncology and treating breast cancer. She also has extensive experience in general oncology, including head and neck cancer, colon cancer, and gynecological cancer. Dr Appiah’s goal is to help her patients understand their treatment plan and feel empowered to make educated decisions. She is passionate about patient care and strives to treat each of her patients the way she would like to be treated.
