Patricia Dettenmeier's areas of clinical interest include obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), and restless leg syndrome. She works with patients to provide a comprehensive history and physical exam, in-lab day and/or night sleep studies and home sleep tests, sleep therapies, prescriptions for oral medications, and referrals to board-certified dentists for oral appliances.Dettenmeier is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.She is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Midwest Nursing Research Society, and the Missouri Sleep Society.

H. Thomas Johnson, MD, is board-certified in sleep medicine and family medicine. He works as a pediatric and adult sleep specialist. He has been in practice in the St. Louis area since 2007. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with his medical degree and completed his residency at St. Vincent’s HealthCare in Jacksonville, Fla. After completing his residency, Dr. Johnson practiced family medicine for five years. He then went on to complete a fellowship in sleep medicine at Saint Louis University before joining SSM Health. Dr. Johnson has also served as the President of the Missouri Sleep Society and is involved in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Varun Halani is a pulmonary disease specialist who provides comprehensive treatment for patients ages 18 and older. His medical services include the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of lung and respiratory disorders, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, and pulmonary infections. He also specializes in sleep disorders such as obstructive and central sleep apneas, hypersomnia, insomnia, parasomnia, and restless leg syndrome. Dr. Halani is an assistant professor with the Division of Pulmonary - Critical Care & Sleep Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
