History

Matlock opened Skinovations long after he had started using lasers in his practice to treat skin conditions as a part of his dermatology practice. When his daughter Lindsey started working for him during her nursing education, Skinovations was born as a cosmetic branch of his practice. In March of 2015 Dr Wood, one of Dr Matlock's friends and clients, got together with LIndsey to reopen the spa. After 4 months of training and hard work we have reopened the spa that he founded. Lindsey remains as a consulting partner in the spa.

We offer noninvasive nonsurgical options for improving the appearance of your skin on your face and body. Methods include laser resurfacing, photo-facials, and radio frequency treatments to improve your youthful appearance and alleviate the appearance of sun damage and reduce the age related sagging of skin. We can use laser treatment to improve the appearance of scars, stretchmarks, vascular lesions, unwanted hair, and unwanted tattoos, We can and will prescribe, if needed, further medication to control the causes of these issues. CoolSculpting shapes unwanted fat pads to a more desirable contour,(eliminating 20 to 25% of the fat cells present) in the area of each treatment. Our new radio frequency device can shape and reduce cellulite and improve contouring of hard to improve body areas, including tightening areas left loose by weight loss.We have Platelet rich Plasma and micro-needling and growth factors that can restart growth in a balding spot.
