DCCCA has been operational for more than 30 years and provides a variety of human services, including, coordination, prevention and treatment of alcoholism and drug dependency. It provides detoxification, residential intermediate care, reintegration and outpatient services for adults and youths. The organization offers family preservation, case management, substance abuse counseling, domestic violence education, on-site assessments, social detoxification, and cognitive and behavioral therapies. DCCCA offers a range of specialized offender services, including female sex offender treatment, anger management and co-occurring mental health treatment. First Apartments

The First Apartments is a non-profit residence for adults, 62 and older. We also have a limited number of units for those under 62 that are 100% disabled. The building was constructed in 1968 in cooperation with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Our facility consists of 118 units in a seven story building. The majority of the units are studio apartments. There are 24 one bedroom units, and 7 expanded units available for rent as well.
