Savannah High School

Amazonia Elementary School, a part of the Savannah R-III School District, serves students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s curriculum includes math, science, social studies, foreign languages, communication arts, and physical, health and business education. It maintains a library media center and cafeteria. Amazonia Elementary School also provides classes in music, drama and visual arts. Atchison County Community High School is a college preparatory, public school that is located in Effingham, Kan. It maintains a variety of academic departments, such as agriculture, art, business studies, computers applications, industrial technology, language arts, mathematics, music, physical education, science and social science. The school provides coaching and training in a range of athletic activities that includes football, cheerleading, basketball, softball, baseball, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. Atchison County Community High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. It is a part of Atchison County Community Schools, which operates more than five schools with a combined enrollment of over 750 students.
