Rinehart Jewelry, Nevada MO, began in 1952 with a dream of providing fine quality jewelry with an enjoyable shopping experience. Jim and Helen Rinehart bought the tiny jewelry department from Dr. Clay Walker's optometrist office on west Cherry Street. The Rineharts moved to the present location at 205 W. Cherry in 1954. After several expansions and additions, Rinehart Jewelry is still growing strong. Although Jim is only slightly active in the store today, in 1986 he turned the reign over to Sonny and Kathy Butler, Rinehart's son-in-law and daughter. Today, with the assistance of their daughter, Jennifer Zerme o, Sonny and Kathy enjoy fulfilling the dream Rinehart Jewelry was founded on. This family owned jewelry store is located in a pleasant downtown setting in southwest Missouri. The friendly, educated staff is anxious to show you their excellent selections of fine jewelry and watches. Rinehart Jewelry has been a member of the American Gem Society since 1975 and the staff is educated in all aspects of the jewelry industry. The AGS is a trade association dedicated to proven ethics, knowledge, and consumer protection within the jewelry industry. All members are held to the highest ethical standards in the industry and are re-certified annually to maintain their AGS titles.
