Rawan Tarawneh, MD

Dr. Erin Swan is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and trauma for patients ages 18 and older. She offers non-surgical and surgical treatment options for injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. She performs surgeries for: rotator cuff repair; knee ligament reconstruction; meniscus repair; total knee arthroplasty; direct anterior (muscle sparing) total hip arthroplasty; carpal tunnel release; cubital tunnel release; trigger finger release; and fracture repair. She is particularly interested in treating chronic anterior, posterior, and multidirectional shoulder instability. Dr. Swan is an assistant professor with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Dr Collin Chen specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face, offering care for both adult and pediatric patients. He performs a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures to enhance both function and appearance, including rhinoplasty (nose jobs), skin cancer reconstruction following Mohs surgery, reconstruction after facial trauma, and scar revisions. He also offers minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, such as Botox® and filler injections. Dr Chen is an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He practices primarily in the state-of-the-art SLUCare Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery office in West County.

Dr. Matthew Smeds is a vascular surgeon specializing in carotid artery disease, aneurysmal disease, and peripheral arterial disease. His clinical interests include dialysis access, arterial dissection, mesenteric ischemia, tobacco cessation, deep vein thrombosis management, and varicose vein management. He is trained in endovascular therapy for both peripheral arterial disease and aneurysmal disease, providing a minimally invasive approach. Dr. Smeds is interested in research into smoking cessation and risk factor modification in vascular disease, and outcomes research in vascular surgery. He is an associate professor and chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
