Being an ICU nurse, I got to experience the craziness behind the scenes. I developed great critical thinking skills and after witnessing COVID and the effects that it had on patients, I really wanted to start in primary care where I'm able to work on prevention and helping to treat underlying conditions so that we can prevent patients from being in the hospital.

My patients are my friends and neighbors. I enjoy getting to know them and helping them every way I can. The reward is making them feel better, which eases their burden and brings them happiness. It makes me happy, too.
